Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

To support the operation of the European Climate Pact;
To incentivise behavioural change, mainstream emission reduction and resource and energy efficiency actions;
To support awareness-raising activities addressing adaptation and mitigation needs;
To support activities linked to the development and implementation of the Sustainable Finance actions;
To develop greenhouse gas emission monitoring and reporting;
To implement/ further develop national 2030 climate and energy strategies plans and/or long-term strategies;
To develop and implement greenhouse gas accounting and climate change mitigation in the land use sector;
To assess the functioning of the EU ETS;
To contribute to building capacity, raising awareness among end-users and the equipment distribution chain of fluorinated greenhouse gases;
To implement climate policy monitoring, assessment and ex-post evaluation

Among financed actions

Innovative techniques, methods and approaches;
Application of best practice (solutions, techniques, methods and approaches which are appropriate, cost-effective and state of the art);
Development, implementation, monitoring and enforcement of the EU legislation and policy

Additional information

This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

Initial duration of the action: between 2 and 5 years

Eligibility

Be a legal entity established in one of the EU Member States or a country associated to the LIFE programme;
The coordinator must be established in an eligible country

Financement

Amount of the grant: between 700,000 and 2 million euros
Co-financing rate: up to 60% to the total eligible costs
