Objectives

To address the establishment of innovative, operational financing schemes for sustainable energy investments
To address the provision of finance as well as the structuring of demand, in particular at regional and national level
To define the target region(s) and sector(s)
To clarify how the proposed scheme is tailored and innovative for the targeted region(s) and market segment(s)
To justify how the proposed scheme complements and is additional to already available funding
To clearly demonstrate the market potential, as well as business case and financial viability of the proposed scheme
To ensure and explain alignment with the relevant EU Sustainable Finance policy and legislation and, in particular, the related EU Taxonomy, or clarify how they
go beyond

Innovative financing schemes for sustainable energy investments
Foresee necessary testing and exploitation activities
Trigger investments in sustainable energy
Trigger primary energy saving/ renewable energy generation

Additional information

This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

The project starting date and duration will be fixed in the Grant Agreement

Eligibility

Be a legal entity established in one of the EU Member States or a country associated to the LIFE programme
The coordinator must be established in an eligible country

Financement

Amount of the grant: 1.75 million euro
Co-financing rate: 95% of the total eligible costs
