Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To enhance the capacity and resilience of Armenian civil society organisations as trusted, independent and effective actors

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To reflect a Rights-Based Approach by which CSOs are supported to ensure the inclusion, participation of and providing a voice to youth, people or groups in a vulnerable situation, minorities, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, poor, elderly, homeless people etc. and particularly to those facing such situations in the marzes of Armenia
  • Priority 2: To provide a clear framework for data collection based on verifiable baseline data and clear methodology to measure progress; and reflect the intention to report against relevant SMART
  • Priority 3: To propose a well-substantiated and comprehensive scheme for financial support to third-parties combining big grants to maximise impact (within the defined maximum limits under the Financial Support to third parties sections) and mid-scale grants, resorting to small grants only in case of specific needs and if working with grassroots organisations and non-formal groups
  • Priority 4: To offer a clear framework for ideation and selection process for financial support to third-parties, and a properly budgeted scheme for accompanying sub-grantees in the implementation process

Among financed actions

  • Capacity development, training (coaching/mentoring)
  • Support and advocate for standards for mental health support, including standards for psychosocial service provision
  • Develop/draft policy instruments on disability assessment and individual service provision

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 48 months for the Lot 1 and between 36 and 40 months for the Lot 2 and 3

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a non-profit making entity
  • Be a non-governemental organisation
  • Be a non-profit media outlet (Lot 1)
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 3.4 million euro
    • Lot 1: 400 000 euro
    • Lot 2: 2 million euro
    • Lot 3: 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 60% and 90% of the total eligible costs
