Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To contribute to building a more resilient, inclusive and democratic Bolivian society
  • To consolidate and promote the effectiveness of participatory and representative decision-making processes of civil society

 

Priorities

  • Priority 1 – To support civil society organisations and emerging civil society organisations
  • Priority 2 – To strengthen the capacities of CSOs
  • Priority 3 – To favour an articulation between CSOs and existing consolidated networks
  • Priority 4 – To promote meetings and dialogue between the authorities and civil society at different levels
  • Priority 5 – To facilitate the development of innovative alliances between CSO networks, state oversight bodies and the media

 

Among financed actions

  • To strengthening the capacities of CSOs and/or collectives, through “learning by doing” and other relevant processes
  • To develop instruments and a process of consultation between key actors and a space for exchange and/or meeting and coordination between actors on different themes
  • To provide spaces and activities for CSOs to participate in the public debate and in the common construction of a cohesive and democratic Bolivian society
  • To promote the articulation between CSOs and existing consolidated networks
  • To promote the creation and strengthening of spaces for dialogue between the authorities at different levels and civil society
  • To promote the creation and strengthening of spaces of responsibility, within the current legal framework, at all levels of the State
  • To facilitate the development of innovative alliances between CSO networks, state control bodies and civil society organisations

 

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 48 months

 

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be a non-profit making entity
  • Be established in Bolivia
  • Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 1.3 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1.1 and 1.3 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 60% and 90% of the total eligible costs
