Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote inclusive and sustainable growth in Georgia
  • To improve skills and employability through the formation of sustainable and financially stable sectoral partnerships developed by private sector, sectoral associations and training providers

Priority

The development and implementation of upskilling programmes for SMEs to facilitate greening of their business and/or increase energy efficiency of their operations.

Among financed actions

  • Fostering sector-based cooperation between private sector and training providers, support the design and implementation of specific training programmes
  • Providing capacity development to sectoral associations and training providers
  • Improving skills development and vocational education and training provision
  • Supporting SMEs in greening their operations (e.g. through coaching)
  • Raising awareness of green practices among sectoral associations and SMEs
  • Partnering with successful companies (national or international) to exchange good practices on skills for green transition

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action : between 24 and 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a non profit making entity
  • Be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, public sector operator, local authority, educational institutions, business associations, Sector Skills Organisations
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 2.8 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 500.000 and 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 50% and 90% of the total eligible costs
