Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To contribute to the building of a close and stable partnership with the United Kingdom.
  • To improve the European Union’s engagement across the United Kingdom with key target audiences and potential partners.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Promoting the core values of the European Union
  • Priority 2: Working together on sustainable environmental, economic and social futures
  • Priority 3: Fighting disinformation and shaping ethical technological change
  • Priority 4: Supporting the implementation of the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement and the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement

Among financed actions

  • Lot 1: Focus on Youht
    • foster dialogue between young people and their organisations in general, and specifically on the priority area topics
    • build initiatives between various youth groups and organisations within the United Kingdom – both in London / British metro areas and beyond – and in the European Union
    • facilitate exchange through new, innovative and immersive methods, online and in person
  • Lot 2: Focus on EU citizens and local communities
    • foster dialogue and cooperation between local communities of EU citizens and their organisations in general
    • build relations with local British communities and the wider British society
    • create and / or strengthen local, regional and national networks; contribute to their long term sustainability

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in a Member State of the European Union or in the United Kingdom
  • Be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, social enterprise, think tank, research/academic institution, cultural institution, media organisation, local/community group, trade and business association, other civil society organisations or networks of such organisations
  • The minimum number of co-applicants is one (1)
  • If the lead applicant is established in a EU Member State, at least one co-applicant must be established in the UK
  • If the lead applicant is established in the UK, at least one co-applicant must be established in a EU Member State
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 1.16 million euro
    • Lot 1 “Focus on Youth“: 580 000
    • Lot 2 “Focus on EU citizens and local communities“: 580 000
  • Amount of the grant: between 400 000 and 580 000 euro
  • Co-financing rate:  between 60% and 90% of the total eligible costs
