Priorities and funded actions

Objective

Protecting and empowering people within a framework of respect for human rights.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To advocate for public policies on prevention, attention to relatives, search and investigation of cases of disappearances and enforced disappearances of persons
  • Priority 2: To advocate for public policies on access to justice and impunity
  • Priority 3: To advocate for public policies on human rights and new technologies
  • Priority 4: To advocate for public policies on the eradication of trafficking in children and adolescent

Among financed actions

  • Creation of appropriate programmes, mechanisms and protocols for action with modernised policies and legal frameworks, and dissemination and implementation of existing programmes
  • Modernised policies and legal frameworks, as well as dissemination and implementation of existing policies and legal frameworks
  • Training for staff of federal, state and local public institutions responsible for implementing public policies and modernised legislation
  • Training civil society organisations, defenders and victims’ families in security and protection, including the provision of appropriate equipment, as well as any other type of preventive activities

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 42 months

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 3.255 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 600.000 and 800.000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 50 and 95% of total eligible costs
