Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To enhance food security, nutrition and livelihood resilience for rural communities across Ethiopia, with a special emphasis on areas affected by disasters caused by natural and made-made hazards
  • To improve effectiveness of food security and resilience programmes, with a special emphasis on youth and women

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Promote equal access and control over ressources for men and women (Lot 1)
  • Priority 2: Tailor behavioural changes to improve the effectiveness of the main activities (Lot 2)
  • Priority 3: Define methodologies on conflict resolution (Lot 2)

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be a non-profit-making entity
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 7 million euro
  • Budget by lot :
    • Lot 1: 5 million euro
    • Lot 2: 2 million euro
  • Amount of the grant:
    • Lot 1: between 4.500.000 and 5.000.000 euro
    • Lot 2: between 1.800.000 and 2.000.000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 90% and 100% of the total eligible costs
