Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote inclusive learning mobility opportunities with a focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation in curricula and research programmes
  • To increase the employability of higer education students and trainees, specifically in green jobs, and their entrepreneurship skills
  • To improve the quality, relevance, internationalisation and climate change focus of higher education in Africa

Priorities

  • Priority 1 – promote the development of digital skills and competences in these areas, including space and earth observation technologies
  • Priority 2 – increase the participation of younger students, trainees and staff and participants with special needs or vulnerable status
  • Priority 3 – support gender equality, youth and women participation and empowerment
  • Priority 4 – demonstrate added value towards meaningful and relevant climate knowledge and skills

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be a higher education institution (HEI) accredited by the competent national authorities and providing courses at postgraduate level
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 27 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: 1.8 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: 50% of the total eligible costs
