Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To provide support for renewable energy projects and targets ground mounted solar PV and onshore wind projects as a well established and low-cost renewable energy technology.

Among financed actions

  • Ground mounted solar PV projects located in Finland

  • Onshore wind projects located in Estonia

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries: any country in the world
  • Proposals must relate to activities taking place in the eligible host Member States: Estonia, Finland
  • The project must:
    • enter into operation by 4 March 2027 for solar PV projects
    • enter into operation by 4 March 2028 for onshore wind projects
    • operate at least 15 years after entry into operation
  • Ceiling price: Only price offers that do not exceed 300,000 euro per MW will be eligible. Applications will be ranked based on the lowest transposed price per MWh

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 52.4 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: it must be calculated using the provided calculator and respecting the following condition: applicant price offer (in EUR per MW) multiplied by the installed capacity of the project (in MW). The amount of support will correspond to the price per MWp indicated in the budget calculator
