Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To facilitate the consumers’ access to effective and efficient alternative dispute resolution entities compliant with Directive 2013/11/EU.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To raise awareness among consumers and traders and increase consumer trust in ADR
  • Priority 2: To increase accessibility of ADR entities to consumers, including in a crossborder context
  • Priority 3: To improve ADR operational capacity in resolving consumer disputes
  • Priority 4: To incentivise ADR entities to introduce and/or develop digital tools in ADR

Among financed actions

  • Awareness raising on consumer ADR
  • Case handling: development of case management systems
  • Prototyping or purchasing tools based on artificial intelligence
  • Performing statistical analysis of complaints and requests by consumers

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity notified to the European Commission
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
