Objectives

  • To strengthen the digital transition and capabilities of SMEs in the social economy through capacity building activities, knowledge transfer and transnational cooperation, and consequently foster their economic, organisational and impact related performances
  • To build up the digital capacity of “enabling organisations” in the social economy
  • To reinforce, where digital maturity allows, the role of social economy as a driver for digital social innovation and consequent digital solutions and tools developed to answer social, societal and environmental challenges

  • Priority 1: New business models – the platform economy
  • Priority 2: Data Maturity and data driven business models
  • Priority 3: Public and private tech partnerships and support
  • Priority 4: Data sharing, Data management & Code of Conduct
  • Priority 5: Supporting Digital Social Innovation & Tech for Good entrepreneurship
  • Priority 6: Access to technology
  • Priority 7: Boosting digital skills by – and in the social economy

Among financed actions

  • Mapping and needs assessment
  • Organisation of transnational, national, regional or local capacity building and training activities
  • Organisation of coaching, mentoring, advisory services

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 24 and 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be social economy ‘enabling organisation’ (national, regional or local)
  • Be support organisations active at EU level
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 8 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic:
    • SMP-COSME-2023-SEED-01: 8 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 900.000 and 1.3 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 100% of the eligible costs
