Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To contribute to strengthening cooperation among MEPC countries and between MEPC and third countries for the prevention of natural and man-made disasters

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Risk assessment, anticipation and risk management planning
  • Priority 2: Risk awareness
  • Priority 3: Early warning
  • Priority 4: Forest fire prevention

Among the actions funded

  • Activities to assess and quantify risks and/or prepare risk management plans for risks with a multinational or cross-border impact
  • Proposals to improve the availability of tools and guidelines on risk assessment and risk management planning

Additional Information

  • This is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private organisations)
  • Be established in an EU Member State, a State participating in the MEPC, an Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) beneficiary country (except Kosovo) or a country participating in the European Neighbourhood Policy
  • A consortium composed of at least three beneficiaries from a minimum of three different eligible states
  • The project coordinator must be an entity from a Member State/MEPC participant
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 15 million euros
  • Total budget of the topic “UCPM-2023-KAPP-PV”: 7 million euros
  • Grant amount: up to EUR 1 million
  • Co-financing rate: up to 85% of the total eligible costs
