This ECHO assistance will help the most vulnerable people in the region who have been affected by forced displacement as a result of the conflict. The aid will respond to the emergency food but also provide education.
This € 9 million package consists of two components: € 5.5 million will be allocated to the urgent needs of populations affected by the crisis in the Central African Republic; € 3.5 million will help to address the situation in northern and central Mali and in the neighboring regions of Burkina Faso and Mauritania.
