This year, the EU is funding the FESPACO (the Panafrican Film and Television Festival in Ouagadougou), for a total of 390 000 euro through support for the organization of the festival, a special EU-ACP award (15,000 euro) and for the activities organized during the Festival.

Support is provided through the ACP-Culture + Program. The EU has been a historical partner of FESPACO for several decades.
The ACP Cultures+ Programme is implemented by the Secretariat of the ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) Group of States and funded under the 10th European Development Fund (EDF) by the European Union for an amount of 30 million euros.
