The European Federation for Living (EFL) is an European organization which supports cooperation between housing associations, universities and market companies in the housing sector.
Primary goal of EFL is to enhance exchange of knowledge and experiences in the housing industry of Europe.
EFL is an association with currently 30 members and associates throughout Western Europe. The members derive from Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Further growth to Scandinavia is foreseen in 2014.
For 2014, EFL members are keen to participate in EU grant programs like Horizon 2020, INTERREG or the Structural ERDF Funds. EFL unites Europe’s most active and innovative partners in the housing sector, a guarantee for an active approach and successful applications. Welcomeurope is partner in application of funds.
The members and associates of EFL share knowledge and experiences with each other to improve their own business and core activities. EFL is focused on concrete actions of cooperation, delivers output in the form of projects, know how or received EU budget and new ideas to improve the competitive advantage of its members. Members exchange staff on mutual base.
The process of exchange takes primarily place within Working Groups. Working Groups produce guidelines, new services and make use of each other’s know how.

2. Financing Social Housing
3. Low Cost Construction / EFL House
4. ICT and Social Media in the housing sector
5. Social Domain and CSR
6. EU Subsidies
7. Accessible housing
