January 9, 2014

Pgm2014 2020: Yes

The Winter School 2014 is organised in partnership with highly experienced consultants who combine in-depth knowledge of EU research funding and experience in their research domain, and have proven to be effective and engaging teachers. Three consulting companies had been selected: Pera Technology, PNO Consultants, and Welcomeurope.

During 1,5 days, five parallel training sessions will be organised for researchers and private companies who plan to participate in Horizon 2020 calls for proposals.

The training will take place in five distinct groups, each one focusing on one of the main future funding areas:
– Nano/materials/processing
– Heath and Biotech
– Social Sciences and Humanities
– Energy and environment

The training will blend new theoretical content with hands-on practice sessions. Participants will learn how to define and “sell” their project ideas in view of the EU funding priorities, how proposals are evaluated and what critical success factors will set their project idea apart. Participants will also look into daily project management, budgeting, and specific rules on Intellectural Property Rights and dissemination of research findings.
