Hat: Hungarian motorway financed by EU Cohesion Fund
Funding Scheme: 2018-08-03
Pgm2014 2020: Yes
The EU is investing nearly €200 million from the Cohesion Fund in a motorway between Berettyóújfalu and Debrecen in eastern Hungary.
This motorway is part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) core network and includes the necessary associated infrastructure: bridges, underpasses and public services to facilitate access to the new motorway. It will also provide access from the city of Debrecen to the M4 motorway linking Budapest to Romania, which itself received EU funding in May this year.
