1.5 million euro for the victims of Indonesia

News Following the earthquake that stroke Indonesia this weekend, the EU is delivering 1.5 million euro to help the victims.

The aid delivered by DG ECHO will assist the most vulnerable and help provide essential supplies such as food, shelter, water and sanitation and medical supplies.

In addition to this humanitarian aid, the Commission is deploying a humanitarian expert to the area to help coordinate the EU's relief efforts and it has activated the EU's emergency Copernicus satellite mapping service.
