News 17,2 million euro from the Cohesion Fund will be invested in the renovation of the Olomouc railway station, the capital of the Czech region of Olomouc.

The 630 000 inhabitants of the region will benefit from modernized infrastructure, from lanes to platforms, as well as new underground and elevators to facilitate access to the station for people with reduced mobility. The Olomouc railway station, an important regional transport hub, is located near the heart of the Baltic-Adriatic corridor of the Trans-European Transport Network, which connects the North from Europe to the South.
