Brexit: what now?

Information, Any fields, Co-op & Development, Enlargement, Economy - Finances, Trade,-,

The crisis continues in the United Kingdom. British MEPs have voted this Monday evening against the four alternative options to the Brexit agreement concluded by Prime Minister Theresa May with Brussels.

Among the proposed solutions were the organisation of a referendum on any divorce agreement concluded with Brussels and the establishment of a customs union with the EU. A third option was to stop the Brexit process in the absence of agreement two days before the release date, which has been postponed to 12 April.

And at last, there was a proposal for a "Common Market 2.0" for the UK to remain in the single market, synonymous to free movement of goods, capital, services and persons, and just like Norway, to have specific customs and trade policy with the EU.
