Employment, Social Affairs, Culture - Media, Education - Training, Innovation, Citizenship, Youth,-,

The Orchestra, which trains the best young musicians in Europe, has been supported by the European institutions since its creation in 1976. This support is used for the training of young musicians, their international performance, to build their careers and develop their talents under the guidance of renowned conductors.
Since 2016, the EU has reserved 600 000 million euro of grant for the Orchestra per year. Today the Commission proposes to amend the regulation establishing the support program for the cultural and creative sectors, Creative Europe, so that the Orchestra is recognized as an organization entitled to receive more stable financial support without call for proposals.
