"Partnership in cohesion policy'" is the title of the new summer edition of Panorama magazine, which is from now on online.

It puts the overarching principle of the joint management of Structural Funds under the spotlight, with a 4‑page feature on the combined efforts of stakeholders in planning, implementing and evaluating the policy. Partnership is seen as the most effective way to harness and integrate the expertise of actors at local, regional and national level, and to ensure the most efficient use of EU resources. A closer look is taken at the recently published European Code of Conduct on Partnership, intended as a guide for Member States in the design of partnership agreements for 2014-2020.

The edition also analyses in-depth the efforts of Structural Funds in the EU recovery from the economic crisis. Key policy interventions and measures taken in recent years are assessed, such as the topping-up of co-financing rates for countries receiving macro-economic assistance, the reprogramming of Structural Funds in certain Member States and the 'Youth on the Move' initiative in countries with particularly elevated levels of youth unemployment.

The winners of the 2012 RegioStars Awards for innovation are introduced, including 2 transnational cooperation initiatives and projects from Sweden, Poland and Austria.

This, and much, much more is piled into Panorama 42, currently available in English, French and German. Other language versions will come soon.
