What is this methodology sheet for?

The subjection to controls is an obligation that every European project initiator is expected to fulfill from the moment the grant agreement is signed. These checks may take place at any moment during the course of the project and even several years after the final payment of the grant. The control bodies are the authorities that manage the funding programmes (European Commission, executive agency, EU delegation in third countries) and the two European control bodies: the European Court of Auditors and the European AntiFraud Office (OLAF).
