NER 300 is one of the world's largest funding programmes for innovative low-carbon energy demonstration projects. The programme is conceived as a catalyst for the demonstration of environmentally safe carbon capture and storage (CCS) and innovative renewable energy (RES) technologies on a commercial scale within the European Union.

Description:

The funding programmes for innovative low-carbon energy demonstration projects ( NER 300 programme), was created in 2009 as part of the climate-energy package adopted under the French Presidency of the European Union. Objectives NER 300 aims to establish a demonstration programme covering the best possible CCS and RES technologies. Amount:

200 million allowances for the 1st round of call for proposals,and the equivalent of 100 million allowances and the remaining allowances from the first round of calls for proposals for the 2nd of call
