This Investment action plan is a part of the Eastern Partnership that aims at strengthening the relations between EU Member States and the six neighbour countries from Eastern Europe



* Enhanced transport connectivity both within the EaP region, and between the EaP region and the EU has the potential to bolster economic growth and create job opportunities for citizens;
* Assist decision-makers in prioritizing strategic investments in transport infrastructure with the aim of completing the TEN-T network as defined at the Joint Declaration of the Eastern Partnership Summit


* Priorités d’investissement :
– Route (7,5 milliards d’euros) ;
– Rail (2 milliards d’euros) ;
– Ports et voies navigables intérieures (1,8 milliards d’euros) ;
– Logistique (1,1 milliards d’euros) ;
– Aviation (533 millions d’euros) ;
– Systèmes de transport intelligents (11 millions d’euros)

Among financed actions
* Regional connectivity (e. g. improvement of East-West roads and railways between Georgia and Azerbaijan);
* Logistics (e. g. improvement of the free trade area and logistics in Alyat and creation of 5 other logistics centres in Azerbaijan);
* Network efficiency (e. g. implementation of intelligent traffic systems on the M-1 / E30 road in Belarus)
