Report on the joint actions funded in 2008-2011 under the Health programmeMay 27, 2013
Funding Scheme: 2013-05-27
The General Directorate for Health and Consumer has just published a report on the joint actions that have been funded by the Health programme between 2008 and 2011.
In line with the EU 2020 Strategy, the Public Health programme aims at investing in health and addressing the issue of the ageing society. From 2014, it will be replaced by the “Health for growth” programme.
What is meant by Joint Action (JA) is an initiative conducted by national competent authorities (such as the Ministry of Health) and other public bodies or non-governmental organisations nominated by the countries participating in the programme. These actions are jointly funded by the European Commission and the project’s partners.
