The conference will address the Innovation Union context of the ‘Capacities’ work programme, especially that of the Research Potential Programme, with emphasis on research and innovation as key drivers of competitiveness, jobs, sustainable growth and social progress.

It will provide the opportunity for regional authorities, funding agencies, representatives of the national research bodies, the applicant’s parent organisation, and end-users (SMEs, industry, etc) to participate and thus to ensure synergies with local, regional and national policies.
