74.5 million euro from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is invested in the deployment of very high-speed connexion in the French region of Brittany. 

This EU investment will complement private sector investment and thus help to bring the region’s ultra-high broadband coverage from 6.2% of the population in 2013 to 68.4% in 2023, a figure that would have reached only 39.9% without the intervention of European funds.

Thanks to this project supported by the ERDF, new services and digital applications will be able to develop in areas such as e-health, online training, remote work or online administrative procedures. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
