Priorities and funded actions

Objectives:

  • To foster the competitiveness of European independent production companies and to increase their economic weight on the market;
  • To increase the capacity of audiovisual producers to develop projects with potential to circulate throughout Europe and beyond, and to facilitate European and international co-production

Among financed actions:

  • Feature films, animations and creative documentaries of a minimum length of 60 minutes intended primarily for cinematic release;
  • Fiction projects (one-off or series) of a total duration of minimum 90 minutes, animation (one-off or series) of a total duration of minimum 24 minutes and creative documentaries (one-off or series) of a total duration of minimum 50 minutes intended primarily for the purposes of television or digital platform
    exploitation;
  • Interactive, non-linear fiction, animation or creative documentary projects (e.g. narrative virtual reality projects) of any duration

Additional information:

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals;
  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility: 

  • Only applications by single applicants are allowed;
  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    – EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories OCTs))
    – Non-EU countries: Listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme
Financement
  • Indicative budget (Lump sum):

-Lump sum 1: Animation one-off 55,000 euros;

– Lump sum 2: Animation series 60, 000 euros;

-Lump sum 3: Creative documentary one-off 30, 000 euros;

-Lump sum 4: Creative documentary series 35, 000 euros;

-Lump sum 5: Fiction one-off with a production budget below or equal to 5M: 45,000 euros;

-Lump sum 6: Fiction one-off with a production budget above 5M: 60,000 euros;

-Lump sum 7: Fiction series with a production budget below or equal to 5M: 55,000 euros;

– Lump sum 8: Fiction series with a production budget above 5M but below or equal to 20M: 75,000 euros;

-Lump sum 9: Fiction series with a production budget above 20M: 100,000 euros;

-Lump sum 10: Short film : 10,000 euros

  • Amount of the grant : Between 90,000 euros and 910,000 euros
