Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To help the Ukrainian cultural and creative organisations, as well as artists and professionals to address the following challenges in the short and medium term

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Short term
    • Sub-priority 1 – Support Ukrainian artists and cultural organisations to create and showcase their art and works in Ukraine and in Creative Europe participating countries
    • Sub-priority 2 – Help Ukrainians displaced by the war, in particular children, in Ukraine or Creative Europe participating countries, have access to culture and/or facilitate their integration into their new communities through culture.
  • Priority 2: Medium term
    • Sub-priority 1 – Prepare the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian cultural sectors through needs assessments, capacity building and investment planning
    • Sub-priority 2 – Prepare and train Ukrainian cultural heritage professionals with regard to the protection of Ukrainian cultural heritage from risks.

Among financed actions:

  • Workshop, seminars, tutorials
  • Studies, fact-checking missions

Additional information:

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Inital duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility:

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one Creative Europe Participating Countries, EU Member States or listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme
  • Be a consortium of at least two applicants with at least one organisation of the consortium is based in Ukraine and at least one organisation of the consortium is based in another Creative Europe participating country
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 5 million euro
  • Amount of the grant:
    • Priority 1.1 and Priority 1.2: up to 2 million euro
    • Priority 2: up to 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
