Priorities and funded actions

Objective

  • To address the development and objective testing of image recognition systems for defence, the creation of the needed new databases, and the integration of the developed image recognition technologies near the sensors and objective testing of these integrated systems

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Creation and sharing of annotated image databases, and development of appropriate frameworks for that purpose
  • Priority 2: Development of software image recognition systems
  • Priority 3: Integration of such software systems on customised hardware near sensors (integrated technology demonstrators)
  • Priority 4: Objective evaluation of the performances of the software and integrated systems

Among financed actions

  • Activities that aim to create, underpin and improve knowledge, products and technologies
  • Activities that aim to increase interoperability and resilience, including secured production and exchange of data
  • Design of a defence product, tangible or intangible component or technology

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 48 months
  • The grant amount will be fixed in the grant agreement

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be a consortium composed of at least 3 independant entities from at least 3 different eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 270 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: 25 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 20 and 100%
