Priorities and funded actions
Objective
To strengthen the role of civil society in promoting transparent and participatory governance, democratic reforms and human rights and in supporting the economic and social development of the Montenegro in view of the EU integration process$
Priorities
- Priority 1: to achieve effective inclusion of CSOs in decision-making processes
- Priority 2: to increased capacities and advocacy role of civil society to address reform processes in various thematic areas
- Priority 3: to support local CSOs to contribute to local development
- Priority 4: to support CSOs in promoting and protecting human rights and democracy
Among financed actions
- Actions against torture and other cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment
- Access by youth to informal education and vocational training
- Innovative approaches to development of small businesses particularly in rural areas with the aim of economic development and diversification at local level

- This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
- Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 36 months
Eligibility
- Be a legal person
- Be a non-profit-making entity
- Be a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) or a Consortium of CSOs
- Be established in Montenegro or a Member State of the EU
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- In case the lead applicant is not established in Montenegro, it must act with at least one co-applicant that is established in Montenegro
- Be registered at least 24 months prior the deadline for submission of project proposals
