Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote common EU values and a strengthened European identity
  • To reach a substantial leap in quality, performance, attractiveness, and international competitiveness and enable deep institutional transformation

Priorities

  • Priority 1: progress the development of European inter-university campuses
  • Priority 2: upscale and mainstream joint, high-quality and innovative educational activities
  • Priority 3: upscale flexible and inclusive learning, teaching opportunities and alternative learning pathways
  • Priority 4: deepening institutional transnational cooperation and enhancing higher education sector capacity

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • Erasmus+ Programme Countries:
      • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
      •  Non-EU countries:
        •  listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme (list of participating countries),
        • Western Balkans third countries not associated to the programme
  • Be Higher Education Institutions holding a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and entities affiliated to them
  • Any other organisation consisting of the above referred higher education institutions specifically set up with the purpose of implementing deep institutional transnational cooperation, including joint educational activities.
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted.

  • Initial duration of the action: up to 24 months

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 145.6 million euros
  • Amount of the grant: the maximum EU grants are based on the number of HEIs as beneficiaries (between 1.62 million euros and 7.2 million euros).

The grant is a lump sum grant.

  • Funding rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
