Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To offer support to schools & VETs and/or higher education Institutions involved in Teacher Training /Education for boosting knowledge on how to teach European Union subjects

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to facilitate a common understanding on learning methodologies about European Union matters among practitioners working in different context, facing different challenges and constraints due the national legislations and the structure of the curricula
  • Priority 2: to expand the teacher and trainer’s competences for developing an inclusive classroom atmosphere using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and teaching in multilingual and multicultural classrooms
  • Priority 3: to serve the purpose of giving an international aspect to the new Jean Monnet strand
  • Priority 4: to allow exchange of good practices as well as experiencing co-teaching within a group of countries
  • Priority 5: to promote a better understanding, both in general education and vocational training of the European Union and the functioning of its Institutions

Among financed actions

  • Exchanging information on content and promoting results of methodologies applied
  • Enhancing cooperation between different schools/VETs teacher training /education providers giving them international experience and a European standing
  • Exchanging knowledge and mobility for co-teaching
  • Fostering cooperation and creating a solid and sustainable knowledge platform among schools & VETs, and/or higher education Institutions involved in Teacher Training /Education

Additional information

  • This call is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the call: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a public or private body active in the fields of education, training, youth and sport
  • Be a groups of young people who are active in youth work
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 different EU Member States and/or third countries associated to the
    Programme must be constituted
  • It must include 4 schools and/or VET providers and of maximum 2 higher education institutions providing initial and/or in-service training to teachers of schools and/or VET institution
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 5.4 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “ERASMUS-JMO-2023-NETWORKS-SCHOOLS “: 2 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 300 000 euro
  • This grant is a lump sum grant
