The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) is a joint programme undertaken in the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. PRIMA aims to develop knowledge and innovative solutions for sustainable and climate resilient agro-food systems and water management in the Mediterranean area.

Objective
To award a monetary recognition prize dedicated to promoting scientific research and demonstrating the economic and social benefits of the Water Energy Food and Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus in the Mediterranean Area.
