Creative Europe – Audience Development and Film Education – 2023

Objectives

• To promote European audiovisual works, including heritage works, and support the engagement and development of audiences of all ages, in particular young audiences, across Europe and beyond.

Priorities

• Priority 1: initiatives promoting audience development and engagement, including film, education activities, addressing in particular young audiences

Among financed actions

• Projects which increases interest and knowledge of audiences in European films and audiovisual works including specific programmes on film heritage
• Projetcts which increases pan-European impact and audience outreach
• Projects which promotes and increases the contribution that existing European films and audiovisual works, including curated catalogues of films, make towards audience development, film education and film literacy

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
• Initial duration of the action: between 24 and 36 months

Eligibility

• Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
• Be established in one of the Creative Europe Participating Countries

• Total budget of the topic: 6.5 million euro
• Amount of the grant: max 6.5 million euro
• Co-financing rate: up to 70% of the total eligible costs
