LIFE – Technical Assistance for Replication – 2023

Objective

To facilitate the upscaling or replication of results funded under the LIFE programme or, where relevant to fulfil the objectives of the LIFE programme, under another EU-funded programme

Among financed actions

• Transferring results of successful projects beyond the geographic boundaries of the project to EU Member States or to third countries associated to the LIFE programme
• Widening the network of protected areas by identifying and/or designating additional protected or strictly protected sites, based on the experience of past LIFE projects, to help guaranteeing the completeness of Natura 2000 network
• Removing local/regional/national legislative barriers to help ensuring sustainability and/or replication of finalised projects
• Substantial transfer of knowledge gained in a project to relevant stakeholders, including in another sector/region/country, including with an aim of mainstreaming nature and environmental objectives into other policies and leading to policy changes
• Organising extensive awareness raising campaign(s) to promote exceptional project results with a goal of achieving considerable behavioural change
• Facilitating the access to other EU or non-EU financial instruments (and leverage additional funding in line with the LIFE objectives

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
• Initial duration: between 12 and 60 months

Eligibility

• Be legal entities (public or private bodies)

• Total budget of the call: 6.5 million euro
• Co-financing rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
