Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To build long-term capacities and partnerships for risk assessment of VBDs in the EU
  • To develop a roadmap of scientific topics that could help in enhancing the support to decision makers when dealing with challenges posed by VBDs
  • To enhance the coordination of activities in a manner that guarantees resource optimization and increases resilience
  • To address gaps in knowledge relevant to all countries within the geographical scope of the Lot

Eligibility

  • To be eligible, applicants must be on the list of competent organisations designated by the Member States in accordance with Article 36 of Regulation (EC) 178/2002 and Commission Regulation (EC) This list is regularly updated by EFSA Management Board and is available for consultation here
  • Proposals can be submitted by one eligible organisation or by a consortium of eligible organisations.
