Horizon 2020: 300 million euro for the mobility of researchers

The Individual Fellowship programme under Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions aims at enhancing the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.

A call for proposals to fund experienced researchers’ mobility across the world is open until 11 September 2019. It makes available nearly 300 million euro for projects in all domains of research. This is a great opportunity for experienced researchers of any nationality, with a PhD degree or with more than 4 years of experience in the area of research and innovation. The aim for researchers is to acquire and transfer new knowledge and skills as well as to work on research and innovation in Europe and beyond.

The grant provides an allowance to cover living, travel and family costs. In addition, the EU contributes to the training, networking and research costs of the fellow, as well as to the management and indirect costs of the project. The grant is awarded to the host organisation, usually a university, research center or a company in Europe.

Evaluation results will be known by early February 2020. Successful proposals will be then invited to prepare a grant agreement which should be signed by May 2020.
