The Juncker Plan backs a 40 million euro agreement in Danemark

The European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) is at the heart of the Investment Plan for Europe, known as the Juncker Plan.

The Juncker Plan focuses on boosting investments to create jobs and growth by making smarter use of new and existing financial resources, removing obstacles to investment and providing visibility and technical assistance to investment projects.  As of February 2019, the EFSI has already mobilised 380 billion euro of additional investments, including 4.7 billion euro in Denmark.

The Juncker Plan is backing an agreement in Denmark, between the European Investment Bank and the public investment fund Vaekstfonden, which aims to provide financing worth 40 million euro to 80 small and medium businesses active in the creative and cultural sectors.
