Objectives

  • To create an enabling environment for reporting and informing on breaches of the Union law, in particular by building capacity on the effective application of the Directive on whistleblower protection
  • To support and protect whistleblowers and build capacity of national authorities and legal practitioners to ensure adequate legal remedies to protect whistleblowers

Priorities

  • Priority 1: supporting an enabling environment for the protection of whistleblowers

  • Build the capacity for civil society organisations
  • Activities and tools to promote awareness raising and communication activities
  • Analytical activities
  • Mutual learning activities and activities aimed at exchange of good practices
  • Activities enhancing and facilitating cooperation between national authorities and civil society organisations

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person (public or private entity)
  • For lead applicants: be non-profit legal entities (private bodies)
  • For co-applicants: be non-profit or legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least 1 applicant
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 16 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: at least 75 000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
