Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote policy cooperation and innovative actions supporting all strands of the Programme, promoting a diverse, independent and pluralistic media environment and media literacy, thereby foresting freedom or artistic expression, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion
  • To encourage innovative approaches to content creation, access, distribution, and promotion across cultural and creative sectors and with other sectors, including by taking into account the digital transition, covering both market and non-market dimensions

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to encourage new forms of creation at the crossroads between different cultural and creative sectors
  • Priority 2: to foster innovative cross-sectoral approaches and tools

Among financed actions

  • Rights’ management and monetisation
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Business tools exploring new modes of production, financing, distribution or promotion enabled or enhanced by new technology (AI, big data, blockchain, Metaverse, NFT, etc.)
  • Improving the knowledge, skills and use of new technologies
  • Greening of the value chain across the creative and cultural sectors and fostering cross-sectoral innovation for sustainability, inclusion and well-being

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person (public or private entity)
  • Applications by single applicants are allowed
  • Applications by a consortium of at least 2 applicants are allowed
Financement
  • Total budget of the topic: 5.4 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
