Objectives

  • To promote an inclusive, participatory, empowered, an independent civil society and democratic space in Yemen
  • To promote an inclusive and open dialogue with and between civil society organizations
  • To enable key Yemeni Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to further develop their capacity and expertise as development actors

  • Priority 1: Integrated human and social development
  • Priority 2: Promoting economic stability and growth
  • Priority 3: Promoting peace and security

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a non-profit-making entity
  • Be an NGO
  • Be established in a Member State of the EU or in developing countries, or member countries of the OECD
  • Be able to and have all necessary legal/administrative documents to operate in Yemen
  • Have proven experience of implementing development actions in Yemen for at least 3 years in the period from 2017 to 2022
  • Have proven experience of working with Yemeni CSOs
  • Have proven experience of having implemented a project worth at least EUR 2 million during the past five years
Financement
  • Amont of the grant: between 2 million and 2.124.912 euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 50 and 95% of the total eligible costs
