Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To offer young people opportunities to learn about European democracy as the foundation of the EU and raise awareness about the key role of civil society organisations in the democratic process
  • To inspire and engaging young people as European citizens through meetings with European decision-makers and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs)
  • To encourage them to become active citizens by joining the together.eu community and voting in the 2024 European elections

Priorities

  • Priority 1: co-design of the event with the target audience (young people)
  • Priority 2: co-creation of the event’s programme with young participants and youth organisations
  • Priority 3: event for and by youth: audience and speakers between 16 and 30 years old
  • Priority 4: interactive formats to boost engagement
  • Priority 5: european dimension
  • Priority 6: political pluralism
  • Priority 7: connection with the central EYE in Strasbourg
  • Priority 8: activities organised by the European Parliament
  • Priority 9: communication about the local EYE in close collaboration with the central EYE team and the relevant European Parliament Liaison Offices (EPLO(s))
  • Priority 10: collection of idead of young people
  • Priority 11: presence of Member of the EUropean Parliament
  • Priority 12: sustainability and inclusiveness

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: between the starting date of the actions and the end of May 2024

Eligibility

  • Be a non-profit making organisation
  • Be a private legal person constituted and registered as legal entity for at least three years at the time of application
  • Be a legal person with no political affiliation
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 220 000 euro
  • Amount of the grant: 110 000 euro
  • Cofinancing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
