Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To raise awareness about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) within the EU, amongst all citizens, farmers and non-farmers alike and to disseminate information about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), including the national CAP Strategic Plans (i.e. the policy and its benefits for the citizens of the EU).

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To support the EU’s farming sector and rural areas
  • Priority 2: To ensure a competitive and sustainable agriculture model with respect to economic, social and environmental aspects
  • Priority 3: To support a fair and sufficient income for farmers
  • Priority 4: To ensure food security and the long-term competitiveness of EU agriculture
  • Priority 5: To support the resilience and the transition to sustainable food production systems, including for the livestock sector
  • Priority 6: To support generational renewal and improving gender balance
    and participation of women
  • Priority 7: To strength the position of farmers in the value chain and protecting them from unfair trading practices

Among financed actions

  • Production and distribution/broadcast of print, multimedia or audiovisual material
  • Web and social media outreach activities that reach a significant number of citizens
  • Media events
  • Conferences, seminars, workshops that reach a significant number of citizens
  • Studies on CAP-related issues (if required to support the implementation of the information measures)

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))

  • Total budget of the call: 4 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 125.000 and 400.000 euro
  • Funding rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
