Objectives

  • To strengthen the role of stakeholders outside the administration who, at local level, are crucial to the success of learners and who can address factors of failure exogenous to the school and/or training context

Priorities

  • Priority 1: strengthen the role and mobilisation of parents and guardians
    • Sub-priority 1: strengthen the role of mothers’, fathers’ and tutors’ associations in education in Morocco
  • Priority 2: strengthen networking and dialogue platforms
    • Sub-priority 1: regional dialogue platforms for education and training
    • Sub-priority 2: thematic platforms for education and training

Among financed actions

Priority 1: strengthening the role and mobilisation of parents and guardians

  • Structuring of coordination platforms
  • Consolidation of coordination between AMPTE
  • Capacity building of local WAPDAs so that they can play an active role in the definition, implementation and monitoring of school projects
  • Facilitating exchanges of practices in specific areas

Priority 2: strengthen networking and dialogue platforms

Sub-priority 1: regional dialogue platforms for education and training

  • Enriching the space for dialogue
  • Creation of a coordination platform
  • Testing multi-actor projects in the field of education and training
  • Facilitating exchanges of practice

Sub-priority 2: Strengthening networking and dialogue platforms

  • Strengthening dialogue
  • Strengthening coordination
  • Strengthening the capacity of actors

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In the first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 30 and 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entity
  • Be a non-profit entity
  • Be an NGO such as WAPP, foundations, research entities, universities, CGEM/private sector federations trade unions
  • Over the last 3 years, have carried out in Morocco and/or in a country with a similar human development index, at least 1 project/programme in one of the priority themes of this call.
  • The partnership must involve at least 4 different categories of organisations chosen among the eligible typologies.
  • At least 3 of the co-applicants must be established in Morocco
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 2 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 500 000 and 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 70% and 95% of the total eligible costs
