Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To upscale ambitious energy renovations of public buildings to demonstrate the exemplary role of the public authorities in decarbonising their assets and leading the way towards the European clean energy transition.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To establish and operate regional/national facilitation structures, for example one-stop-shops, to accelerate the renovation wave in the public sector
  • Priority 2: To demonstrate clearly how the facilitation structures will be established in terms of governance, mandate, geographical coverage and sustainability
  • Priority 3: To support public authorities in finding alignment of their proposed investment

Among financed actions

  • Approaches to reduce complexity and simplify decision making for public authorities to stimulate demand for building renovation and energy performance improvements
  • Development of efficient procurement processes
  • Financial engineering support

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action will be fixed in the grant agreement

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 98 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: 6 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1 and 1.5 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 95% of the total eligible costs
