Objectives

  • To contribute to inclusive economic growth and job creation
  • To boost the sustainable and inclusive development of the Eswatini key value chains via renewable energy and energy efficiency investments

Priority

To undertake feasibility study(ies) for renewable energy and energy efficiency investments up to a combined capacity of 7.5MW.

Among financed actions

  • Assessment of renewable energy resource at the specified location
  • Assessment of the potential initiator of a business proposal current and anticipated energy load/demand
  • Review preliminary study report and facilitate preferred option selection by the potential initiator of a business proposal
  • Develop full technical feasibility for the project, inclusive of detail design and budget costing

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 24 and 48 months
