Zoom on ERASMUS+

On the 20th of October, the European Commission has published the call for proposals announcement 2015-2016 concerning the Erasmus + programme, that is to say the Union Programme for education, training, youth and sport.

What kind of actions does it concern?

The Erasmus + programme concerns particularly in the fields of education, training, youth and sport:

Learning mobility of individuals : mobility of individuals in the field of education, training and youth, Erasmus Mundus joint master degrees, large scale European voluntary service events,

Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of best practices : strategic partnership in the field of education, training and youth, knowledge alliances, sector skills alliances, capacity building in the field of higher education and youth

Support for policy reform : structured dialogue, Jean Monnet activities such as chairs, modules, centres of excellence, support to associations, networks, projects

Sport : collaborative partnerships, small collaborative partnerships, not-for-profit European sport events

How much money does it represent?

For a total estimated at 1 871,1 million euro, the Erasmus budget is divided as follows:

 –Education and training represent 1 645,6 million euro
Youth amounts to 186,7 million euro
Jean Monnet will receive 11,4 million euro
Sport represents 27,4 million euro

Who can apply ?

Any public or private body active in the fields of education, training, youth and sport in the following countries may apply within the Erasmus+ programme:

-The 28 Member States of the European Union
-The EFTA/EEA countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway
-Among EU candidate countries: Turkey and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

In addition, certain Erasmus+ programme actions are open to organisations from partner countries
